The Founder ofPharma Pvt .Ltd was Mr. N.C. Dalal, a respectable figure in the business community with 40 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Recently his contributions were widely acclaimed in the industry as the Chairman of the prestigious Indian Drug Manufacturers’ Association (IDMA). As Chairman, Mr. Dalal ensured that the voice of the members was heard all the way to the topmost brass of government.
The founder, Mr. N.C.Dalal was armed with a Bachelors degree in Pharmacy from Gujarat University and he also completed marketing training at the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management in Bombay. With those qualifications and over 32 years of experience in a large multinational pharmaceutical organization in India, Mr. Dalal was an inspiring role model for all SUNIJ staff and many individuals outside SUNIJ also.
SUNIJ is a registered company in India, manufacturing and marketing quality pharmaceutical formulations and food products (Sweetener) that deliver value to customers, meet the health needs of patients and improve their lives.
SUNIJ initially entered the pharmaceutical market with a sole focus on the anti- tuberculosis segment. Subsequently it broadened its horizons into other segments including – Cardiac Care, Anti-Inflammatory Analgesics, Anti-Asthmatics, Anti-Bacterials, Steroids, Anti-Ulcer and Food Products (sweeteners).
The relentless quest for quality and a strong belief in the Japanese word “ Kaizen”, meaning continual improvement and excellence has resulted inbeing one of the few SSI Units to be awarded the WHO-GMP as per the revised ‘Schedule-M’ requirements. In addition SUNIJ also has the AN ISO 9001 certification, Director General Quality Assurance(DGQA) certification, and the Director General Health Services(DGHS) certification. In the near future SUNIJ also plans to pursue approval of US-FDA, TGA(Australia), MCA(U.K.), MCC( South Africa) certifications.
